This momentous launch event, held at SIT, marked a major step forward in digital transformation within the academic archival space. Gracing the occasion as Guest of Honour was Professor Yaacob Ibrahim, former Cabinet Minister and Advisor to the SIT Archives Department, whose presence reinforced the significance of this initiative to preserve and promote institutional history.
"The SIT Archive Management System stands as a beacon of how technology can be leveraged to preserve culture, identity, and institutional legacy," remarked Prof. Yaacob during his keynote address.
Developed by OurCodeLab, the system empowers students, faculty, alumni, and researchers to easily search, retrieve, and explore archival materials through an intuitive web portal interface. From historical photographs and founding documents to milestone speeches and campus development records, SIT’s journey is now just a few clicks away.
